VISITING HOURS FOR ALL HARRIS COUNTY JAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Visiting Hours -Monday thru Friday - 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday & Holidays - 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Note:      Attorney Visits are allowed at any time after the first 24 hours the inmate is in custody. Minister Visits are not allowed at any facility from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily.


Rules of Visitation

Visitors must have valid State, Federal ID or Texas Driver's License required of visitors. Must be photo ID. No ID required of visitors 16 years-old or younger when accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Visitors over 17 years of age or older must have proper photo ID. Children must be in the custody of an adult at all times. Children may not be left unattended. No purses, bags, pocket knives, weapons, cell phones, or recording devices of any kind are allowed in visitation area. No items may be left unattended in loby area.


One (1) visit per inmate per day. A visit may consist of up to 2 adults and 2 children. No items may be left with inmate. No visit within first 24 hours of incarceration.


Proper modest dress required. No tank tops or tube tops. Shorts no shorter than the knees, dresses and skirts must be knee length. No revealing or see through clothing. No revealing sleeveless tops. No spandex or tights unless covered to knees.


No food, mail, packages, photographs, cigarettes, or other material may be left with inmate.
