J. A native Houstonian, J. Gordon Dees began the practice of law in 1977 as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County, Texas. In 1981, he was promoted to the position of Chief Felony Prosecutor and during his tenure with Harris County, tried over 100 criminal cases. In 1983, J. Gordon Dees left the District Attorney's Office to join the lawfirm of Dickerson, Hamel, Early, & Pennock and expanded his trial experience to include civil litigation and administrative hearings. In 1987, J. Gordon Dees began his private criminal law practice and since that time has maintained an active trial practice in both State and Federal Courts.
In 2006, J. Gordon Dees joined with Percy L. "Wayne" Isgitt and Cynthia Zan Turcotte to found Isgitt, Dees & Turcotte, An Association of Lawyers, to represent and counsel corporations, executives, and small business owners regarding the potential criminal liability inherent in certain business activities. Wayne Isgitt has over 40 years legal experience representing Clients in complex business litigation in courts throughout the State of Texas and in United States federal courts. Zan Turcotte not only brings an extensive civil trial background to the Association but is also a Certified Public Accountant.
